Human beings are funny old animals though Yak.

Whilst I find it deplorable that any religion teaches that wife beatings are a right and correct type of behaviour...there are some people around of both sexes who seem to enjoy giving and recieving pain.

I am not one of them and I don't understand them but IMO they do exist, so there is actually an element of truth in what the Koran says on this matter. Of course the Koran is totally one sided about it as under Islam men are allowed to beat women but women are not allowed to beat men...no equal or fair treatment.

I know of several couples in relationships where the woman beats up the man regularly after drinking and sometimes the man hits back. It is not my type of relationship but they seem satisfied with each other.
