AN OPERATIONAL licence for a proposed $50 million nickel mine, near Beaconsfield, is expected to be gazetted within a month. The proposed Northern Tasmanian mine and processing plant is believed to be the first of its type where nickel and associated Mining, processing and geological will be carried out in the same operation.
