yep I watched it. At first I got the impression that they might have been actors - a clever propaganda piece. Maybe this was a pre-conception due to the incessant advertising of the programme. Then I thought it might have been conceived as a kind of 'thinking man's' Race Around the World - being SBS and all that.
have to admit I kind of mentally switched off after the the visit to the Iraqi refugee's home - where one of the aussies asked the iraqi (who admitted that he did have ID papers)- why he destroyed all his documentation. His answer was that he would have been killed (a direct threat), had he not destroyed them. Why?
