29/12/2006 Essa Australia advised that it has been awarded a $1m order to supply a complete sample preparation system to a gold mining customer in east Russia. In addition, the company advised that it has secured the supply of a $7m laboratory automation system to a major laboratory group. The system is to be supplied during 2007 and is subject to pre-contract acceptance testing due for completion in May 2007.

11/12/2006 Essa Australia expects sales revenue for the six months ending 31 December 2006 (1H07) to increase by at least 35% compared with the same period last year to approximately $12m. EBIT in 1H07 are anticipated to rise by at least 80% to approximately $1.5m.
