Students migrate from country A to country B to study, then they migrate back when they have finished. Immigration & migration are generally used interchangeably because the permanency is unclear. Not that changes the point I made in one bit.
Australia had 2 years of students moving in one direction to Australia (2022, 2023) after 2024 students who started their 3 year courses in 2022 will go home & there will be movements in both directions. If they were on a 2 year course they will start to go home in 2024.
