Big hedge funds can target any company and because of the pathetic performance of our regulators are being allowed to do so with gay abandon. At the time when instos adjust portfolios & amidst global uncertainty many quality companies have been heavily targeted.
Ppl who put blood, sweat & tears into building up companies & take the risks are being allowed to have their companies subject to ridicule because of the current global climate & inaction by govt & regulatory authorities. ABS is one such company!
Eddie has my support until & unless he is convicted of fraud or similar - I challenge anyone to come out & claim that is the case. IMHO hedge funds are just parisitic paper shufflers - smashing things is simple & dirt easy when you have $squillions with which to do it. Of course some ppl call this market manipulation - but not in Australia!
