    When there is an insurmountable fear in the market stocks are sold down all too often to attractive levels.

    Very rarely in history do we see so much carnage in one day without a recover thereafter.

    Gold is going up. Newcrest bounced 50 cents from its lows today after crashing from above $18.20.
