Finally someone has come out and highlighted the obvious. Scomo's frequently referenced goto person for advice on womens affairs, i.e. Jen, has been likened to the subservient female characters in the distopian 'Handmaid's Tale"

Based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, HBO series The Handmaid's Tale is set in a totalitarian society in which women are treated as property of the male heirachy.
