I reckon the bottom line is this.

If you think the next generation of surgeons globally will all be trained on simulators, stay in for the ride.

If you don't, accept the error rate as it has been forever, or invent something that no one has yet come up with.

For what it's worth, i reckon the snowball is still very near the top of a very large hill!
