Hey TONY I am not sure if anyone really knows why the SP hasn't responded better than it has.

But the story from all JV partners is pointing at a stack of oil, good rocks, and an apparent willingness to extract it and sell it. Maybe more oil than anyone can really comprehend.

Factors that could be an issue include the prevailing oil price and uncertainty in markets in general. So many of us have not recovered confidence from the 2008 crash and many are now predicting a worse event 'anytime' now.

Yes of course they are professionals trained to present a positive vibe but seriously they have no obligation to run a series of investor presentation whatsoever so the mere fact that they are doing so is enough to convince me they are genuinely excited.


I also own Silex - if you want a depressing story have a look at them. They tell you nothing, every update is a rehash of the previous with the only real changes is to slip on milestones and fail to deliver on anything.

Here is their response to my email seeking an update of a program of accelerated commercialisation announce last May, due last Decmber before being extended to June.

"Thank you for your comments and questions. Activities continue on all fronts as detailed in our disclosures to the Australian Stock Exchange over the past year.  Other that unscheduled events requiring disclosure, which can occur at any time, our full-year update will be in mid-August.

Here you have the difference between a company that wants to tell it shareholders what its up to and one that won't. I know who I am happier with. F*ck they don't even have the decency to sign off with a human.
