I thought Rod Drury's tweet following the MYOB announcement to buy Reckon this morning was pretty entertaining:

On a totally different note, I heard in an interview from the CEO of Emerchants recently that 80%-90% of all payments in the US are cheque based.  In my view, Xero is significantly more efficient with direct bank transfers , does anybody have an opinion on whether we are likely to see a significant drop off in the 80%-90% usage of cheques? Obviously the number of banks there makes it a lot harder to for them to establish a payment system capable of bank to bank transfers.
