Are you sure that the roughly 10% difference isn't caused by Capilano managements guidance being based on the diluted earnings including the newly issued shares, and the analysts earnings being based in undiluted figures.

The fact that the capital raising will reduce per share earnings in the shorterm shouldn't bother anyone that knows what they are doing, the extra capital will easily increase earning power enough to offset the effect of the extra shares once it is on the balance sheet for a full reporting period, the fact it hits the balance sheet a few days before reporting and won't add to earning power in this reporting period should fool only the complete novice.
