Now your original point was Galan was going to struggle to be profitable because the DFS used $29k/T for LCE. Dragging an argument into the weeds of possible future export of LiCl and claiming trucking or mule-ing the LiCl to Chile and associated costs isn’t going to prove your point. It’s nothing more than a sidetrack.
Stage 1 offtake is already committed via a “ binding” contract to Glencore. I realize you Lakers don’t know what binding means as it’s never been part of the announcements around here, but basically it means Glencore are buying the LiCl and if it gets trucked to anywhere, it’s not on Galan tick.
But the real point is that Galans LiCl is profitable at today’s LCE prices. Even just stage 1. Crunch the numbers, it’s all available on the website. The directors all believe in the project, they just stumped up $2,200,000 collectively to buy into the recent SPP. Who would have thunk it eh haha !
