The announcement today clearly points out that goal posts can be shifted. Nothing new for Lynas!!!

They can expand capital raising to 30 per cent of issued capital and therefore raise anything perhaps above 75 million depending where vwap ends. Of course this will be influenced by a sudden change in timetale.

My view is the capital raising will be heavily oversubscribed many times over. If say six times as an example at say in this case 15 cents then

.15 x 2 billion shares is $300 million dollars

So in theory 90 million dollars can be raised which is another 600 million shares.

Another 90 million in bank assuming cash flow neutral at 750 tons would give Lynas plenty of breathing room

HOWEVER

That's assuming price of rare earth basket stays where it is and Lynas sells all it produces
