It's easier to blame management than admit you either got the call wrong or failed to act when things changed .
I think one needs to understand the inv decisions need to be fluid , the initial decision may have been fine, but things can change meaning it's no longer fine , and that's the hard part . One thing I like about TA is their ability to sell without emotion . A good FA investor needs to know that the F can change quickly and they to need to sell with limited emotion even if it means taking a loss

As you know even though I invest through FA , I have found TA very useful. As an example I exited PDN post their partial asset sale . The stock opened in the mid 60s ,
Peaked at 66 and closed in the high 50s . Even though my decision to re enter was made from an FA perspective , I knew the weak close post what was good news was likely to continue for a while . So I delayed my FA decision as long as I could and bought at 48.5 due to tA

Both are useful , but looking at both even if you are better or favour one is still ideal
Btw - Bazza wasn't rubbishing TA , he has been rubbishing anything that is remotely positive. I am glad for him the painful journey is over , I may have even bought some of his shares if he sold at 47.5 c
