Often with stocks like STM you have to be patient and hold out if you believe in what they have to offer. We can all suggest numerous stocks that have wallowed for months, received continuous negative ramblings on HC, only to break out on good news. DEG come to mind as a prime example. Those that held through the barrage of heavy criticism on HC have been rewarded 20-30 fold.
Gold was due for a pullback and may even pullback further with general market sell down, and stronger USD. However, it will only take some positive news flow for these guys to re-rate.
