Usually Daintree / Bairnsdale ulcers are painless - which helps make the diagnosis.
However, best to get at least a swab of the ulcer and I'd suggest also a biopsy, especially if you live in an area where these ulcers occur.
If it is one, then they can be very very nasty....
I would not delay.
