Gold: no world-wide credit crunch affects gold.
Oil: This thing used to use a lot of oil, but now it produces...what, around 70%(?) of its power from geothermal.
Risks: It's a bloody volcano, so it could blow its top (but I don't believe it has done so in recorded memory?)
