This market is virtually untradeable. Sure you can point to examples where intra day you could have made a buck but they are few and nothing (other than the fall in AGO) makes too much sense. I wonder when Comsec and eTrade will wake up to the fact that the 1/4 cent trade business is taking cash away from them. They cannot earn money unless my buy or sell gets hit but I have had orders front of queue for the last few days that do not get touched all day because all the volume goes through either Chi-X or 1/4 cent.

It is all fast becoming pointless. And did any of us receive a discount on brokerage due to the new competition? I didn't think so. Chi-X exists so the big boys can manipulate IMHO.
