Yes, we are made in the image of God "AND THAT MEANS WE HAVE NO ORIGINAL SIN" because God had no sin. if we are made in God's image then we are born without sin because God and Jesus never sinned.

so originally, man was created in the 'image' of God, as a ruler

but originally, man was not fully like God in that man did not know good & evil

later man become like God is knowing good & evil

but the knowledge of good & evil is not purity but leads to spiritual death

this is why God in the OT gets angry, sad & viciously violence

God is not pure at all but, in reality, often brutal
