Thanks RM. As an atheist my life is full of meaning with the relationships I have formed, and with my family. No need or desire for God in my life. For me, the world is exactly as it would be if God didn't exist.
I recommend Richard Fiedler's Conversations on Radio National when he talks to Andrew Solomon. A most moving account of parents whose children are different to most others. Disabled, dwarfism, children who murder, etc. Their parents not so much care for them because they love them but the opposite. They love them because they care for them. Their lives are full of meaning. No need for God there either, I suspect.
