re: ridge in more trouble than gbs Andrew, I was once a believer going through all the rituals in my youth but the more I read and the more I discovered the less I believed until all belief has gone. Trust me, I have looked very hard and very long. All of the beatiful things you talk of are serendipidous and there are lots of ugly and not so nice things to go with them.

I do not need the crutch of an imaginary god, living my life doing unto others as I would do unto them. All creatures (of which man is just one) and flora return to the dus from which they came, neither seen nor heard again. Poor Darwin must have gone out with self doubt.
