The issue is they haven't.
They have proposed reducing taxes for the likes of BHP and moving the burden to pensioners, education and health.
They have also proposed increased spending.
The budget deficit bottom line has increased, not decreased.
The only change has been from Labor's agenda to the LNP agenda.
The maths of the budget doesn't even add up to support the claimed purpose of the budget.
Reducing income and increasing spending doesn't help the budget bottom line.
The budget is based purely on politics, so it's unlikely to get wide spread support unless the the politics is removed and it becomes a genuine attempt to address Australia's financial issues.
Your comment "it needs to be accepted by all" uses the wrong premise that the budget tackles the issues, when it clearly doesn't when held up to scrutiny.
