There would be a lot of negative things that would indicate Christ's presence.
(Matthew 24:6) You are going to hear of wars and reports of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for these things must take place, but the end is not yet.

Along with that there would be the work that Christ's disciples would be doing.

Obviously, because the end has not yet come the preaching will continue.... until it does. God’s Kingdom has already been set up in heaven since 1914. That is the good news that needs to be preached.
The chaos we see on earth today is the result of Satan being evicted from heaven.
(Revelation 12:10-12) I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come to pass the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ, because the accuser of our brothers has been hurled down, who accuses them day and night before our God! 11 And they conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their witnessing, and they did not love their souls even in the face of death. 12 On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”

God's kingdom in the hands of his Son will soon put an end to all human governments forever -- Daniel 2:44 Before that time comes we must recognize Jehovah is the Universal Sovereign and show we honor him by willingly submitting to him as the Sovereign of our life.

I appreciate that all the wars and destruction from the Napoleonic wars, American Civil War and countless wars leading up to the great war with its intermission, WWI and WWII, until after Vietnam was not enough death and destruction for you. I admire how easily you dismiss the countless deaths caused by Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Tojo and a great cast of unsavoury characters, but might that not be enough for you and Matthew. You're just too greedy for blood.

So clearly that prophecy has been fulfilled.

The teaching of Christianity had reached every continent and country on earth by the mid 1800s satisfying the claim, "all the inhabited earth," because it is not saying every individual.

So clearly that prophecy had been fulfilled by 1830 or so.

Now the end you speak of has been translated in two ways. One way, which is a mistake is end of the world. The correct way as spoken of by Jesus, remember Him, He's the one you should be listening to, not that misguided Governing Body in the US. At the end of Matthew 28: 16 - 24 Jesus says, "And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

So you need to produce Jesus right now, because all the prophecy concerning His return has been well and truly been fulfilled for well over a 100 to 150 years.
