One doesn't understand the Bible without the Holy Spirit,
that simple, therefore one can't discuss or have a conversation with one such as this.
It's a waste of time !!

I have heard this statement many times, and too often the real meaning behind it is:
"If you don't agree with my interpretation then you obviously don't have the holy spirit."

In my experience this attitude was very prevalent during the period of the charismatic movement in the 1970s, and there is still a hangover from that time.
