Last Friday 29 Nov was the last trading day for ARL cum in-specie capital return. Today ARL traded ex in-specie capital return because the record date is tomorrow which meant you would have to have bought last Friday for the trade to have settled and show up on the share registry at the close of business tomorrow (settlement date = trade date + 2).
The shares should show up in Commsec around about 13 December.
