Amigos, this morning I finally took up the SPP offer. At the same time I watched a trade of just 348 shares or $30 knock off 1 cent or 10% from the shareprice! And that trade sits there alone all day! So I don't have any confidence - but with my form that is a very good position. In the past, everytime I think that GRL looks to have something exciting, I am wrong - either assays are not good enough or the prospect is put on the back burner by management while it moves to the next prospect. It is the same story for every one of its prospects, I think. Take for example, Lewis Ponds. The company inherited plenty of drilling assays, geophysics and historic mine info. As a result it produced a JORC compliant resource for gold at about 2 g/ton for about 400,000 oz (plus plenty of credits from other metals). And that was without doing any drilling! An the company owns the freehold land title! The company kept telling us it was progressing the exploration in differnet directions, but the news has gone cold. Why? Isn't it important to drill and grow that JORC to 1 million oz in order to make it into a commercial proposition? As another example, Cyclops at Yeoval North the preliminary visuals were reported as showing "massive chalcopyrite" in a typical porphyry setting, only to find that when the assays were released the grade was 1% copper and there was no more mention of porphyry copper-gold. To me "massive" means much greater than 1%, so my interpretation was wrong again. I'll stop the rambling over spilt milk and get back to Narrraburra, which is the reason for the cap raise and the current excitement. In one short announcement the portable XRF showed some reasonably high grades were recorded for the magnetic metals (Nd, Pr), but in the next announcement those two metals had low average grades. Interestingly, I don't think these magnetic metals were mentioned in the resource when it was purchased by GRL. So Nd and Pr have come and gone. How so? My only explantation is that there may be veins within the fresh rock with good grades, but when the whole drill intercept was averaged, the "not detectable grades" in the upper regolith (soils) weighed down the average. And there I go again, trying to interpret GRL's announcements. Will I ever learn? So until the assays are announced for the diamond drilling and the air core, I have very little confidence left. Sorry for the downbeat post. Good luck amigos.
