Destroying is the wrong word to be using as that word takes away a souls freedom to live there own journey, it implies control of a religious person, no different than what there religious leaders are doing.
The eventual ending of all religious beliefs will be the salvation of all human souls once spirituality philosophy based souls consciousness is the norm.
I suspect that many, not all religions will evolve to philosophy based spirituality consciousness with followers still stuck in the old way of religious beliefs no longer existing within the new earth consciousness, there souls will move on to another reality.
