No Armageddon or "end of end times" so the precise failed dates were replaced by the catch-all ambiguous term "soon" - obvious ploy, really, if you don't believe your own spin.
All up Watchtower is well practised at keeping sheep with limited memories in the faith of its own cause and on the streets spreading their version of delusions. There will always be a minority of humanity who will be comforted by a good story no matter how bizarre the story is.
