Interesting thought, a few sniffs around town suggesting current sp support ( backed by Toho bid) is making the long suggested merits of a tie in looking much better?? Is this Toho's intention.......was this Nystars intention. Rasp stand alone in town uneconomical and nonsensical imo. Truck traffic with Pems 'Potosi' mine will be unbearable and cause public angst. Add Rasp to that lot and its a foregone conclusion that in the longer term it is not and will not be viable for both powers to run independently here in the Hill. Both will be hit with a storm of protest over traffic, dust, noise and safety issues, road damage, quality of life damage .....the volume of road transport required is a joke. Therefore......yep, you heard it here on HC, imho these two parties are probably closer to realisation of the necessity to merge than aat any other 'ego' dominated time. Transport rationalisation and viability along with public outrage may well hold the key that turns the lock.
