Kimberley Oil: Europe gas debate may affect shares

Kimberley Oil NL (ASX:KBO) said, in response to an ASX query, it was not
aware of reasons for the increase in its share price recently, or the
trading volumes.
However, it said there has been recent significant natural gas
price increases across Europe.
In addition, over the past month, there has been debate in
Eureope and, in particular, in the United Kingdom about natural gas
storage levels and pricing.
The company made announcements in November regarding the
completion of a coal bed methan inventory assessment at its Lorraine
permit in eastern France and will be changing its name to European Gas
Ltd, reflecting its business objective in coal bed methane in Europe.
Its shares last traded at 11.5c.
