Hi Madrum, small point Xstrata no longer exist; Glencore has taken them over. Glencore could be a serious JV partner for CNX. Glencore have a stated that their key focus is to invest in oil and gas, they also have plenty of coal assets, cashed up (sold a copper mine recently for $5.8billion) and they have a lot of credibility with the Queensland government. The current market cap of CNX would be small change for Glencore and they have the capability of taking CNX's IP and spreading it across the world. IMHO it would be a natural extension of Glencore's coal strategy. TFP
