re: going up up soon Hiya,
My friend had a look at GIP and said the following...
"GIP - what happened to the Zeehan tin project with Western Metals in Tasmania?
I guess the Abu Dabbab project is bigger, but GIP has a tendency to
announce very favourable views of the projects they have and often
the outcomes fall short of this initial optimism.
GIP has lost 12m or so so far without a change in management - why
should this project work when it has had problems with other ventures
such as the internet horse racing gaming concepts, Here2win.com? GIP
has an outstanding lawsuit on this matter with Mr. Aguero claiming
compensation of 1.8m.
How does the current management feel able to manage operations which
are internet related, and now mining related?
It seems the company is a stock market chameleon, changing direction
to whatever is most popular at the time; when mining was unpopular
it went dot com, now mining is popular again, it's back into mining.
Indeed it is a chameleon except it is unable to live a long time
without food - in this case money from stock issues."
