    Not suprised. Gold operation close to commissioning, minimal debt and big enough, and with a 10-year plus life, to make to desirable as an acquisition target to the US / Canadian firms operating in West Africa.

    Decline in $A makes it vulnerable to a T/O offer, particularly that Redback mining has about 13% of the register.
