Anyone big enough to shift the price around is usually a rational player. Therefore, this is likely a rational action - we just don't know what or why yet.
IFN closed yesterday at 47.5c, opened there and rose to 52.5c, spent the day falling back and closed at 49.5c. Buyers began hard, were met by ready sellers, and kept buying. Turnover for the day was 6.25m shares, compared to average 1.5m.
We now have all weekend to ponder the day's action, before it is overtaken by Monday's trades.
I expect announcements soon on the three most advanced projects, probably delayed by negotiations with CEFC.
