Valad sells 11 properties in NZ for $41.2m

Australian-based Valad Property Group Ltd has sold 11 properties in New Zealand for $41.2 million about 18 months after it said it was expanding there. The New Zealand properties were sold at a 14 percent discount to the book value on June 30 and the weighted average passing yield on the assets sold was 9.4 percent. In July 2007 Valad announced the purchase of property assets from Carter Holt after it was taken over by Graeme Hart’s Rank Group.

So are these the sales that occurred with settlement now and therefore formal announcements expected, or are there other sales in NZ that we are expecting announcements on?
