    BIL closed down 1.4%, just off its lows, in London.

    The ongoing weakness in BIL may well see the stock test $4.45 here today.

    I think that if Wesfarmers were contemplating having a crack at BIL then they would not have undertaken the recent $ 1bio capital return, and increased their gearing accordingly.
