RGC, your statement re the vitamins is not exactly correct.. I know of one company that found over 100 scientific papers re the effects of vitamin and mineral supplementation on one disease.
The formulated a product from the papers, did trials with amazing results..
And Vitamin A supplementation crying blindness in third world countries.
And the list goes on, different conditions fixed by supplementation. Pellagra, Scurvy...
Maybe cheap multis don't have much scientific support, but specific conditions caused by deficiency do...
