I am happy to stand by my post. If you have followed AVB for a while on HC you'll know that I update that little spread sheet with the daily prices if I post it. I also do the sums for $2.50 per pound copper, none of us know for certain where it will all end up. Even at $2.50 we will have a robust share price. As I said in that post "...Given the above, I still think my $1 target is very safe ...". The sums might be optimistic, or not, we'll see when the time comes but if you want to call any part of it a prediction, go with $1. That's my stage 2 minimum target. 40,000 tonnes with C1 costs sub $1 per pound will add up very nicely.
I have no doubt that by that time we will have several other prospective areas to look at for mining. Hence, my willingness to give a goodly PE. If the big miners chopping back on cap ex does result in shortage of supply a few years down the track (which many including Blackrock believe)we could see even more...just estimates.
Not particularly impressed with the closing share price but I've spent all my money and am patiently waiting for the Emo fervour of the "off with their heads" mob to die down :)
I find it a little amusing that so many are complaining about the raising rather than buying nearly 10% cheaper at 7c. Do we all wish we had saved our bank and bought all our holding in the close today? There wouldn't be enough stock, that'd put us over 10c! A lucky few might have but not me, I'm averaged in around 8c I think. I'll check for sure when I sell them and the accountant tallies the figures...I hope many years down the track. I know quite a bit about AVB, its tenements, plans and the past accomplishments of its Directors. I regard them highly. I can't do the comparison you are asking for with regards PNA, I know very little about them other than they trade on approximately a PE of 12...depending on the day of the week and their share price. AVB is not the only equity who's price fluctuates.
PS My suspicion is that a lot of day traders have been exiting since trading re opened but don't really know of course.
PPS Join the dots, why did Blackrock want in so much?
Brilliant IRR Brilliant metallurgy Inexpensive to mine. State and federal government support. Great team to develop and mine it AND keep the discoveries coming...and it's all the perfect counter cyclical investment IMO. Good luck with your research.
