Below is a cut and past from a couple of Dart's anns.
Dart's management have got the job done so far
- 30 July 2014 - The Unicorn Project holds the potential to become the focus of a major Victorian mineral province.
- 30 July 2014 - In February 2014 the new Board, comprising industry veterans experienced in bringing large scale projects into production, commissioned a range of revised scoping studies into techniques used elsewhere to address similar challenges.
- 4 March 2014 - John Cottle’s reputation is legendary. He conducted one of the earliest independent resource assessment studies of Olympic Dam, conducted assessments of ERA’s Ranger and Jabiluka projects and Esso’s Rundle and Condor sites, among many others. He was also engaged by the Norwegian government to advise on their giant Kirkinese iron ore project. John is quietly determined with a deep knowledge of Australian and many International mineral deposits, their attendant geology, mining and processing issues. He is ideally suited to deal with the complexities of possible geo-metallurgical issues, selective mining and mineral separation intricacies at Unicorn.
- 30 July 2014 - ..... a level of confidence to instigate a comprehensively detailed 10,000 metre up to 71 hole drilling programme with an associated resource update.
- 30 July 2014 - Ongoing re-scoping studies have also identified a likely, considerably more project-efficient, and environmentally attuned, water supply option involving pipeline transport of year-round project requirements from outside the immediate project area.
- 30 July 2014 - An extensive flora, fauna and aquatic field study – part of the EES and deferred in 2013 - is being re-examined for approval and implementation during Spring – September /October 2014.
- 30 July 2014 - Together with successful completion of the in-fill drilling programme by that same date (June 2015), DTM aims to achieve a high confidence level PFS preparatory to instigating a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) subsequent to June, 2015.
It looks like in point 3) that John Cottle has resolved the separation issues. Note though that while the current management accepted that it certainly was an issue that needed to be resolved, it was quite common and could be overcome with conventional techniques. That's experience for you, can't beat it.
