What a stock! When I was in high school/uni, I did nightfill work at Big W. After a few years, they gave me 100 free woolies shares for my efforts...probably worth around $8.00 around that point. Not really understanding much about shares at that time, I sort of shrugged and said OK yeah whatever. Luckily, I was wise enough to accept them and also tick the DRP box.

Well, several years on and now I do have an interest in investing. Through dividend reinvestment, it has grown to about 119 units (not a whole lot, but still nice to have). I think if there was any good that came from working at Big W, that would have to be it....except maybe riding pallet jacks in the stock room, that was kind of fun!
