The recent rise in AWE cannot be explained entirely by the upcoming drilling program offshre NZ. Interesting though it is is small beer compared to the targets the Aussie jv has offshore China.
I think there is a possibly another deal in the wings by a company that has shown itself to be exceedingly astute at value accreting acquisitions and farm ins. AWE has some $88 million the war chest so it has the funds finance some new activity. Any one any ideas.
Fortunatley I bought in recently at 1.26
