What dose happen to santos, origin and other gas companies when gas is no longer a major need in the next 5 / 10 years?
From memory, going by the four corner episode on gas, the experts predicted a gas price of $6/$9 being the best case but still can’t compare to USA price of $2/$3.
As we all can see there is a massive push to renewables etc. Federal goverment gas push is looking like what’s currently happening to Bitcoin. Ride the way and then come crashing down and a whole bunch of tax payers dollars down the drain.
After people comments on why gas companies will prosper in the next 5/10 years...
Next federal election should be an interesting one.
