Let me get this right. You put $3m into a development that is completely off grid, yet you only allowed for two days of cloudy weather? Seriously? Just two days and no grid tie-in? What is that saying again, a fool and their money? Seems to me the failure here is not renewables, it's the fool that undersized the system. But let's not place the blame where it belongs, let's find a scapegoat.
What does happen to santos, origin and other gas companies when gas is no longer a major need in the next 5 / 10 years?
I doubt the transition will happen that quickly, and I suspect Santos will pivot to gas as a feedstock for low carbon energy such as blue hydrogen etc. so I doubt Santos will be in much of a bind.
