I held AJM for a while, made 100% gains on it but should have made significantly more had I been a bit smarter. Good learning experience about taking big profits. But I put those profits into PLS because the debt issue was clearly choking that company and it was very whiffy even 2 years ago. I don’t like to see AJM holders lose out, but from the PLS perspective it’s a stunning outcome to get their assets at firesale value. It turns PLS into a commanding player and presence in the unfolding energy storage revolution set to play out over the next 2 decades.
I have made a sort of personal commitment to try to set myself up from the choices I am making in 20/21. I am waiting for the right time to put more funds into PLS, then will be patient and watch things play out as they should over the next 5-10 years as a longer term hold. I expect to be extremely satisfied by that strategy.
