    from June13 quarterly:

The metallurgical testing will be completed by UK-based Wardell Armstrong International Limited.

    from 16 Sept 2013 announcement:

Metallurgical test results on core from three historical drill holes are also due shortly from UK based Wardell Armstrong; an organisation with European potash experience.

so why has not the metallurgical testing been announced?

    ???

for example, another potash company announced its metallurgical work 12 months before its PFS

    HFR processing plant; looks complicated

another processing company's plant; with clean ore; looks simple

other company with 6.8Mtpa ROM operation producing 2.Mtpa potash based on 34% KCI ore chose as shaft over a decline due to an aquifer but their deposit is shallower than HFR

so how much will HFR save with a decline for a 4.4Mtpa ROM operation to produce 700ktpa? probably not that much

A tradeoff study was completed comparing decline access and vertical shaft access and a decision was made to use vertical shaft access due to schedule, shaft pillar considerations, ground conditions and the presence of the aquifer. Two shafts will be required for ventilation and for secondary egress from the mine and their development is discussed in the following sections.
