To get $75m pay out for making some appalling decisions is down right ridiculous.
Who in their right mind would attempt to takeover Rio tinto at the top of the market, Potash was another. Luckily for BHP's sake RIO and Potash take over offers didnt go through because if they did BHP would have a mountain of debt.
Petro hawk was another deal he paid top dollar for, He was trigger happy always wanting to buy companies out.
Lets hope the new CEO has better risk management.
