I have spent nearly 40 years in the oil and gas business, and have seen very people who could consistently add value. I love Tullow! Their exploration success record is remarkable

In the Chairmans address at the AGM he talked about having a business plan. I think I have written more of these plans as I have hot dinners.

At the end of the day the issue is the "rocks". Someone has to love the rocks and see the potential. There is an expression that oil is found in the minds of men( and women).

I once worked with a very special individual. He came in one monday morning having read a CSIRO report over the weekend on the salinity of groundwater in PNG and proceeded to explain why the fields in PNG produced way beyond expectation.

I look at companies like FAR, JKA and PCL. In each case there are peple with vision and pasion even if there are commercial issues which get in the way.
