simply the luck of the birth at certain time of century to be roughly of buying age for life's average 'goings on' ...
...and at the time when bankers decided to 'roll over' some stale money and started playing with libor and ... whole other bunch of nonsense that usualy doesnt happen to an asset class !
at least i'm smart enough to realise that it wasn't my wisdom that did that, so im not basing my selfworth on something that was everybody elses doing but mine !
