I just got a phone call from the care facility where Mrs H has been for a month or so now to say that her wedding ring has come off and was flushed down the hand basin, but a lady described as "someone who can do everything" undid the plumbing and retrieved it from the S bend.
Isn't that brilliant? I owe her a box of chocolates.
